Modern Chester House

About This Project

We transformed a tired and dated 80s style sitting room and separate dining room into a contemporary, light filled stylish living area.

This involved some building work, including altering the chimney breast in order to fit a new gas fire, and insetting the television into a recess to fit flush, removing the old fashioned cornice and enlarging and lowering the dining room window to take full advantage of garden views and maximise light.

We fitted shutters for privacy, stunning linen curtains and new furniture, carpers and lighting throughout. The result is a cohesive, elegant but comfortable scheme which is much loved and always in use.
